TestimonialsOn Thursday night:9/22/2011, I was getting off from work, I had one thing on my mind was to get to a certain destination for a meeting. I was so excited about this meeting ; becuase God's hand has really been under girding us in our endeavors. I stopped at Walmart to handle some buisness.
When I left there I was walking down the road going toward Hwy 105. It was dark, then I had on dark clothing, the colors required to wear at work. I had just rehearsed in my mind it dark outside and I am wearing dark clothing, I was being as careful as possible to allow the cars passing to get by me. Then all of a sudden, I got hit by a Suburban truck, with the side view mirror. I stood there after that and said" I did not just get hit."I felt myself get dizzy and I said "yes I did get hit." The amazing thing is I was still standing, the vehicle did not knock me over. I was determined to get to my meeting!!! I just dusted myself off crossed the street and continued walking. The lady that hit me stopped and offered support and insisted that I take her information. She even dropped me to my meeting. I didnt want to escalate the situation more; however the lady who hit me happens to be a member of our church, and she knows Sis. Veal and Bro.Veal. They insisted I call our Pastor and tell them of the incident, they also called the ambulance to check me out and stayed by my side. I thank God that He has covered me with the blood of Jesus, protected me and preserved my life and my profession. See I am a beautician I work with my arms and hands. I could have lost my life and my right arm over a bad decision. The Layton household could have been drastically changed, but God!!! We are still standing, and still passing test, after test. I Thank God the Lover of my soul!!!! Who is the covering over me and my families' lives!!!!!!!!!

I give Glory and Honor to the Lord for He is good!!! I would like to thank the Lord for healing my body and how He is restoring me. I lost 60 lbls and didn't know why. The doctor's ran all kinds of test on me and couldn't find anything wrong. I stood on the word of God which says by his stripes I am healed and the prayers of my Pastor and the saints of God, I have to say "God is truly a healer."........Deacon Memphis Jones
I've been through some big tests. From being told that I may have had a heart attack , to being told while in the hospital that I may have had a stroke. The hospital ran all sorts of tests but all the test said not so. God permitted me to really pray for others and not just family and friends. I'm still a little weak but you know when we are weak, He is strong. 2Cr 12:10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. I've had more time to really listen to Pastor and the Ministers on CD's and hear what I missed. It's so much more I could say but I'll just stop by saying the Lord is not through with me yet and I'll continue to stand on His word, Amen..........................Deaconess Dina Hill
